Autumn Term
History
Within history during this term, children will build upon their prior knowledge and uncover more of the mysteries of the ancient Egyptian civilization. This exploration into history will take the children to the heart of the Golden Age of Egyptian archaeology.
Our journey into the past does not end there. The children will be finding out about achievements and legacies. They will develop an appreciation and understanding of the past and recognise that historical events can have meaning and relevance for their lives today. Democracy, Stone Age paintings, social classes and the origin of the Olympics, are some of the amazing things we have planned.
